Terms of Service

1. The service

Frienddix is a free, real-time multilingual chat. There is no registration, username, or password: you pick a nickname and a preferred language, and you can start talking right away. Messages are automatically translated into each reader's language.

2. Acceptable use

By using Frienddix you agree not to:

• post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or violent content;
• share spam, scams, malware, or unsolicited advertising;
• impersonate other people or publish their personal data without consent;
• disrupt the service or attempt to access it in unauthorized ways.

3. Content and moderation

Messages are public to anyone who joins the same room. You are solely responsible for what you write. We may remove content or block access that violates these terms, without prior notice.

4. Translations

Translations are generated automatically by an artificial-intelligence service and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, or safety-critical communications.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous availability, message retention, or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of the service.

6. Age and capacity limits

Frienddix is intended for people aged 16 or older. Rooms hold up to 50 people and the service runs a limited number of rooms at a time, so access may be temporarily unavailable. Messages are deleted automatically 24 hours after they are sent, so the chat is not a storage service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms at any time; the current version is always available on this page. Continued use of Frienddix after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
